Irish Crest

Just off the shore the black Anna belle drops her sails
Planning the siege of the fortress said
Untouched, never forced to open her gate
You sent a few men to poison our stock
Under a cloudy sky the food and water spoil & die
Patient as we die in the fields
On a calm wave, you touch the shore
They walk right in to find the last words written by king Bellamore
A letter to my enemy
It would appear an effortless siege of men who herd goats and sheep
The gate that let you in is now locked but not from within
below your feet the straw you see is a tar soaked
The arrows that soon will light the sky
Will burn everything on this ground
After the last scream is heard
We will lift your sails and circle around
To the otherside of this isle
There sits many ships
Their hauls rotting, water flows through
Their sails torn flapping in the wind
These ships thought to be swallowd
Your ship will be another tale of the sea
On this shore our familys sit in safe
Soon we’ll return to open our gate
To live as we have for century here
To think you knew this land and water better than thee
Is what sealed your fate on the shore of bellamore
